Nadeau & Annino Complete Attleboro YMCA Family Adventure Center

Nadeau Corporation Construction Development and Engineering and Annino Associates have completed renovations to the downtown branch of the Attleboro YMCA.

At the ribbon cutting ceremony Robin McDonald, CEO of the Attleboro YMCA stated “We’re very excited to reveal the results of this renovation that has transformed a 1909 YMCA lobby into a new, modern space that addresses the needs of our community today.”

Eight months of renovations took shape in the form of a new Augat Family Adventure Center which includes new classrooms for child care and youth programming as well as a healthy menu café for YMCA members and guests.

The original North Main St. entrance of the building was also restored in the process and now leads to a Cuddy Kids Gym on one side and the Toddler Room, School’s Out room, and another playroom on the other side. The Family Adventure Center will serve 175 kids every day in a safe, fun, and innovative space.

This project was made possible by a multi-generational gift by the Augat Foundation and during the dedication ceremony local dignitaries, YMCA staff members, and Gretchen Reilly, the late Ernest Augat’s daughter were on hand for the ribbon cutting festivities on May 7th.
