Project: Dining Hall Renovation
Location: Brockton, MA

This project consisted of the renovation of a 1970’s dining hall to modernize the space for Massasoit Community College students and staff. The interior renovations included new finishes and millwork; new seating types; new vending/self-serve options; a new condiments area; staff dining; and a student life services suite with reception, offices, and student work/study area.

About the Client

Massasoit Community College is a public community college in Brockton, MA that was founded in 1966. Massasoit Community College offers associate degree programs in arts, sciences, and applied sciences, and one-year and short-term certificates for a range of occupations and interests.

Project: Store and Donation Center
Location: Danvers, MA
Year Completed: 2018

The new 10,700sf store has a clean and modern look. As you walk in, you immediately notice polished cement floors, brightly colored walls, and large photos of clothes and household items on the walls. The renovation work included a new entrance system, floors, ceilings, walls, fire alarm system, updated HVAC, lighting and plumbing.  The store has two TV monitors that display information about Goodwill’s mission as well as store news and discounts. And, the store has a convenient drive-up donation center.

About the Client

Goodwill provides job training programs and partners with the business community to deliver meaningful work opportunities for individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency.

Project: Executive Washroom Upgrade

This project consisted of designing and building out (2) executive washrooms for this industrial client. The old bathrooms were dated and Nadeau enlisted Architect Steve Nelson to design a high-end washroom makeover that would be more suitable for this quality manufacturer. The project was a great success and Nadeau now values EMS Attleboro as a repeat client.

Project: Cannabis Cultivation & Processing Facility

Nadeau was the design/build team leader during the planning and pre-construction phase of this 55,000 sf cultivation facility. Nadeau and our A/E team designed, budgeted, value engineered, scheduled and facilitated all activities necessary to prepare this industrial property for a large scale state-of-the-art cultivation operation. Included in Nadeau’s responsibilities was a full building assessment, architectural design, MEP/FP engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, demo, structural steel reinforcement, hazardous materials removal, masonry, rough and finish carpentry, roofing, HVAC, plumbing & heating, electrical and fire protection work.

Project: Cannabis Retail Dispensary
Location: Brookline, Ma

This high-end marijuana retail dispensary for New England Treatment Access is just minutes from Fenway. The aim was to transform the old Brookline Bank into a classy retail operation. The facility is complete with glass showcases for the medicine, the original bank vault for holding product, and lots of the original architecture that really makes a one of a kind retail space.  Nadeau is proud to have been a part of the design/build team to deliver such a unique project.

About the Client

New England Treatment Access is the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in Western Massachusetts. After being awarded (2) of the first 15 provisional licenses, they have set up cultivation operations in Franklin, Ma and retail dispensaries that operate out of Northampton, MA and Brookline, MA. Project: Cannabis Cultivation and Manufacturing Facility
Location: Franklin, MA
Year Completed: 2015
Project Manager: Ernie Nadeau

This unique project consisted of approximately 62,000 square feet of state-of-the-art cultivation operation with, air shower, lab-grade production environment and built-in expansion potential. This design/build project delivered compartmentalized cultivation and real-time environmental monitoring that supplies 2 high-end dispensary retail locations. The project called for  top level security features monitored by over 100 HD security cameras, controlled access throughout the facility with live check-in and employee access with biometric controls at key points. Nadeau also built a full scale commercial kitchen for Lozenges, gel caps, tinctures, baked goods and other infused edible items.

Located in Narragansett, RI, Quest is a private independent Montessori school providing a safe, caring and peaceful environment to 115 students from eighteen months to eighth grade.New England Treatment Access is the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in Western Massachusetts.
