The new 10,700sf store has a clean and modern look. As you walk in, you immediately notice polished cement floors, brightly colored walls, and large photos of clothes and household items on the walls. The renovation work included a new entrance system, floors, ceilings, walls, fire alarm system, updated HVAC, lighting and plumbing.  The store has two TV monitors that display information about Goodwill’s mission as well as store news and discounts. And, the store has a convenient drive-up donation center.

About the Client

Goodwill provides job training programs and partners with the business community to deliver meaningful work opportunities for individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency.

Project Description

Project: Distribution and Operations Center
Location: Lunenburg, MA
Year Completed: 2018
Project Manager: Ernie Nadeau

Nadeau Corporation completed the 52,000sf distribution and operations center in 2018. As design/build team leader, Nadeau was tasked with overcoming numerous challenges including large amounts of unsuitable soils found on the purchased land and working through winter conditions to meet a fast tracked move-in date. The space includes administrative office space, vehicle bays, warehouse space, and a “war room” for responding to weather emergencies in the area. This building is now home to 85 employees and sits on 15 acres in Lunenburg, MA.

Unitil Corporation is an interstate electricity and natural gas utility company that serves the areas in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

Sensata Technologies

Nadeau Corp Office Construction

Project Description

Client: Sensata Technologies
Location: Attleboro, Ma
Year Completed: 2018
Project Manager: David D’Angelo

The renovations to create the new management offices were successfully delivered by Nadeau Corporation in 2018. Working off hours and performing the majority of the work at night, allowed the project to be completed on time and within budget for Sensata. This 3,000 square feet of professional office space was the second project completed by Nadeau Corp for Sensata.

Sensata designs and manufactures sensing, electrical protection, control and power management systems with operations and business centers in 12 countries globally.  The company’s products improve safety, efficiency, emissions and comfort for millions of people every day in transportation, appliance, aircraft, and industrial applications.

Red Mill Lofts

Bernon Worsted Mill Residential Conversion

Project Description

Client:   Red Mill Loft Apartments
Location:   828 Park Avenue in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Year Completed:   2006
Value: $2,475,000
Project Manager:   Ernie Nadeau

This project consisted of a conversion of an abandoned mill building into 20 residential condominiums. Besides developing the loft units with 14’ ceilings, the project featured a new main entrance lobby, elevator lobby, and constructing a covered parking area. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.

Together with SPM Design, Nadeau Corp. was able to satisfy the states Historical Preservation requirements through careful design, planning, and implementation.

About the Client

The units range from 1,200 square feet to 2,000 square feet. They have original wood floors and traditional arched windows. This project was completed for a private developer.

Nadeau Corporation completed the 20,000 square foot, fast track renovation project for Leach Garner, a Berkshire Hathaway Company in September of 2012. This design-build venture with Blount Bennett Architects, was completed in record time and came right down to the wire to accommodate strict time restraints. While there were numerous obstacles to overcome, Nadeau Corporation and everyone else involved buckled down and got the job done on time while keeping the professional quality up to the standards of these prestigious clients. Months later, Leach Garner returned to Nadeau and negotiated another renovation project with our firm. We view this as the ultimate testimonial to our determination and success.

Attleboro Office Building

Project Description

Project: Office Building Addition
Location: Attleboro, MA
Year Completed: 2014

This Attleboro Office Building involved creating a 5,000 square foot, 2 story commercial office from a run-down old body shop that was built in 1945 on the corner of Route 1 in Attleboro, Ma. Many challenges were overcome during the construction of this project. Weather conditions, a tough location, and a fast tracked schedule were just a few hurdles Nadeau Corporation was able to overcome.

About the Client

This project was completed for a private investor/developer who purchased the building, invested the capital to complete the transformation, and plans to lease the space to either a medical office or a retail tenant.
